Deconstructed: The Making Of @dababydababy’s “Suge” With @jetsonmade (Video)


Gotta have love for the Carolina’s. It’s only right. DaBaby really caught my attention with this single “Suge” and you know how much we respect producers on this platform. Columbia South Carolina’s own Jetsonmade goes behind the scenes with Genius to deconstruct the process of creating “Suge”. My three year old is always singing Jetsons tag, and you can’t deny that you say it too. The song was also co produced by Pooh Beatz.

After several viral singles, North Carolina rapper DaBaby broke through to the mainstream in 2019 with his Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Suge.” Taken from his debut studio album titled ‘Baby on Baby,’ the song holds a current peak of No. 22 on the chart and features production by Pooh Beatz and jetsonmade. The latter producer sat down with Genius to break down how the track was made.
