at first we were like:
HERE, FAR FROM EARTH, IS WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN. MUSIC…THE SOUNDTRACK TO THE SOUL BLENDS WITH THE DAILY TROUBLES AND THE TIME IN BETWEEN IT TAKES TO WIND DOWN TO YOU. WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE SWAG REVOLUTION WHICH INCLUDES EVERYTHING YOU SEE US WEAR TO EVERYTHING YOU HEAR FROM US. MUSIC, CLOTHES, AND THE SPIRIT…WE’RE HERE TO JUST BE US. FROM BENEATH THE STARS FROM JUPITER AND MARS COME THE G.F.K; YOU’RE WELCOME. 2 LIVES, 1 SOUND.
and then we were like:
Not too much has changed. Not Quite Millionaires has actually been around for almost 10 years (we’ve got a 5th grader), having been born from an idea on a small college campus. Just two kids, trying to change the world with sound. Ace produced, Junie rapped. And both were actually good at it. This was something we learned as we went along (from legal threats to internet premieres) and as always, life has a way of intervening. The dream of sharing great music and building for something “if my homies call” is and will always be first.
Then there’s you all. We never thought we’d be able to take a hiatus and bounce back, but we’re getting there. Give us time. Teamwork make the dream work.
“Peace to ya moms”,
– Not Quite Millionaires
