Miami native (I’ve been missing Snappers too) Sylvan LaCue marks the anniversary of last year’s Far From Familiar with visuals for Heavenly, a talk between he and God. Let him tell it:

“We shot this video in the middle of Miami during my travels in 2016,” Sylvan says. “I wanted to keep things dark and simple. When I wrote ‘Heavenly,’ I wanted to express the duality of my ego and the urgency of my need for God’s presence in my life. It was important to make sure the visual emphasized that duality.

Amen to that.
